The students of IFT, IPS Academy showcased their talent and creativity at a fashion show organized by the World Designing Forum at Hotel Radisson in Bhopal on National Handloom Day. They impressed the audience with handwoven white cotton dresses featuring bagh print and kowri work, as well as Batik Sarees draped in a new Indo-Western style. The fusion of handloom fabrics like Khadi, Cotton, and Silk resulted in captivating designs that earned praise from attendees.
Handloom Day
IFT, IPS Academy celebrated National Handloom Day with enthusiasm, showcasing handloom sarees creatively on the ramp. Through choreography, they promoted the message of supporting handlooms. Weaver Mr. Kishore Sarode, owner of Jivaji Handlooms, and Mr. Jagatram Bagadkar from Khadi Village Industries Board were honored at the event. IFT launched IPSA Bag made with handloom fabric to support weavers and encouraged them to continue using handloom fabric.
Eternity Fashion Show at (TAI) Ahmedabad
The Eternity- Fashion Show was conducted in collaboration with the Textile Association (India) in World Textile Conference at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
VIBES Fashion Show at TAI, (MP UNIT), INDORE
IFT, IPS Academy participated in the 76th National Conference organised by the Textile Association (India) MP unit at Ravindra Natya Grah, Indore MP. IFT conducted Fashion Show ‘Vibes’ and showcased the students’ work through three themes: khadi, Threads and Prints of India and Indian Traditional-Ethnic Wear of India.
