Ms Preity Sarva (Principal) Institute of Fashion Technology, IPS Academy, Indore, MP.

MBA in Fashion Designing, MSc in Fashion Technology, MA in English, B Sc in Biology, Diploma in Fashion Designing with CAD, Office Automation.

Experience- An enthusiastic academician aiming to serve the fashion industry by imparting quality education to youth. Having 23 Years of experience as Principal, Designer, Consultant in leading organizations; Apparel Training & Design Centre Indore; a national level institute under the aegis of Apparel Export Promotion Council, Sponsored by Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of Bharat; IPS Academy, Indore etc.

Her experience as a Fashion Designer & Academician with area of expertise in Designing, Production Technology, Quality Assurance, Pattern Making  etc. sets her apart at a distinguished place in the fashion industry. Her articles on fashion field are published in leading publications. And activities led under her mentorship are published in national newspapers quite often. She is tech-savy & is keen to adopt sustainable practices in fashion education & industry. She is at her footsteps all the time to nurture the students and to alumni to do their best in their careers.

International Exposure & Trainings-

She is trained in Pattern Making & Sewing from faculty, NIFT. She worked under the mentorship of DG & fraternity of NIFT & NID, the Top Level Design institutes in the world. She excelled in training on Productivity & Work Study (Industrial Engineering) taken by Mr Roger Thomas, Technical Consultant, South Africa, having 40+ years of experience in fashion industry. She has undergone the training from Clothing Industry Training Authority (CITA), Hong kong also.

Unique Initiatives- With the due support of Management, IPS Academy IFT could;

  • Develop a Fashion Innovation CAD Lab with AR & VR facilities for fashion industry. Probably this is country’s first lab in a fashion designing institute.
  • Conduct ESDP on Augmented Reality in fashion Industry, for the first time in the country, sponsored by NIMSME, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of Bharat.
  • Setting up of Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS) IPSA Centre in IPS Academy & JSS IPSA Outreach Centre at Kushwaha Nagar under Ministry of Skill Development., Govt. of Bharat for the underprivileged section of the society
  • Three Fashion Shows at a stretch in a year; 2023.
  • Continuously building new relations & bringing new projects to IFT, IPS Academy thus providing highest exposure opportunities to students in terms of innovative activities.

  • She is President in Textile Association (India) – MP Unit.
  • She is Vice Chairman in Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Indore, Sponsored by Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India.
  • She is Patron member in North India Section of Textile Institute, Manchester, UK

Achievements- Students bring laurels like;

  • Student won 2nd Prize in The DESDES Design Awards 2024 for best Jewellery Designing organized by famous Jewellery Designer Ms Swati Garg. 
  • First Prize Rs 5000/- cash  in ‘Stall Display Competition’ in State Handloom Expo  , organized by Hastshilp Evam Hathkargha Vikas Nigam Ltd., Govt. of MP and Sponsored by the Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India in 2024.
  • Won trophy for ‘Best Experimental Fashion Concept/ Avant-Garde Design’ in National Designers Award 2023 in Delhi organized by the World Designing Forum
  • Won trophy for ‘Most Innovative Concept Wear Collection’  in National Designers Award 2023 in Delhi organized by the World Designing Forum
  • Won Rs 50000/- cash Award for presenting  Eternity Fashion Show excellently in World Textiles Conference 2023 conducted by the Textile Association (India) at Ahmedabad.
  • Presented Excellent Collection in Handloom Fashion Show 2023 organized by the World Designing Forum in hotel Radisson, Bhopal.
  • Participation in Handloom Design Contest 2022 organized by Hastshilp Evam Hathkargha Vikas Nigam Ltd., Govt. of MP and Sponsored by the Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India.
  • Participation in Pantaloons Next Top Designer Contest 2022 organised by Aditya Birla Ltd.
  • Khadi Fashion Show organized at Khadi Mahotsav 2021 under Khadi Village Industries Commission, Ministry of MSME, Govt of India was  highly appreciated by the garment & textile fraternity.
  • Student won First Prize  in ‘Vinirmah,  virtual Fashion Show 2021
  • Conducted Fashion Show ‘VIBES’ in National Conference on Textiles 2021 organized by Textile Association of India MP Unit. Applauded by the garment and textile fraternity.
  • Student won First position in State Level Competition in World Skills Competition 2021.
  • Winner in National Level Mask Designing Competition 2020.
  • ‘Best Dress’ in Bombay Times Fashion Week 2019; the dress worn by Sushrii Shreya Misraa, Show Stopper Miss United Continents 2015 runner-up; walked the ramp with Veteran actor Mr Ranjeet.

Ms. Rupali Mishra (Assistant Prof)

M. H. Sc. (Clothing and Textile) , B.H. Sc.

Ms. Rupali Mishra has 10+ years experience with Government Polytechnic College. Proficient in Sourcing, Design Process & Planning. She exhibits Strong organizational skills and problem solving. She specializes in printing technology, madhubani painting, apparel manufacturing processes and merchandising. She is highly talented in Fabrics, accessories, trims, other materials, manipulation and garment production techniques. Very well versed in Draping, pattern making techniques and cutting skills. She develops curriculums, Manuals and undertakes reviews and assessments of students in various areas of Art & Design and Department Coordinator of “NAAC”.

Ms. Dimple Pariyani (Assistant Prof)

An assistant professor in IPSA Ift department. Faculty of pattern making and garment construction has completed her master’s in drawing and painting along with diploma in AMT(Apparel Manufacturing Technology). She has also pursued 3 months certification course of self employed tailor from PMKVY & completed various internships, as in Go green textile and Kalani Interprises. She is an entrepreneur and runs a boutique.

Ms. Pooja Gyanwani (Assistant Prof)

 B. Design (Fashion Design), with 5+ years of teaching expertise in drawing, sketching, and fashion illustration. Trained 100+ students and an entrepreneur.

Ms. Amisha Kukreja (Guest Faculty)

MBA (International Business), B.Sc. (Jewellery Designing), Diploma (Cut, Polish and Diamond Grading), Diploma in Jewellery Designing from GIA, Mumbai with experience of Providing designs for Jewellery Manufacturing at Jewels Emporium and Supervising the labours in actual manufacturing to achieve the best results.

Mr. Ankit Chawda, Assistant Professor

B.B.A. , D.C.A
Mr Ankit Chawda is expert in Garment Construction with 8 years of teaching experience. He mentored students for Times Indore Fashion Week three times, for Graduating Fashion Show Groovy Rage , Geetanjali Fashion Show etc.
He is in Sport Committee in IFT. He has a vast experience of Fashion Exhibitions, Fashion Shows and Fashion Events.

Ms. Kajol Thakur

Ms. Kajol Thakur brings over around 2 years of teaching experience specializing in Digital Fashion Design. She holds an M.Sc. in Designing and has also earned an MBA in Finance and Marketing. In addition to her academic endeavors, she is the Founder of Wrap Tales, where she channels her creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. Known for her exceptional management and organizational skills, she seamlessly integrates these strengths into both her academic and entrepreneurial pursuits. With her expertise and innovative approach, she is dedicated to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment that inspires students to explore new ideas and excel in their creative journeys.

Mrs. Arti Shrivastava,

Mrs. Arti Shrivastava, Fashion Designer Completed Becholers in Computer science and PG Diploma in Fashion Designing & Marketing. She is working from last 9 years as a Fashion Designer and a Fashion Mentor. She runs her exclusive boutique also at present apart from mentoring the students. Her expertise lies in Pattern Making, Stitching, Jewellery Designing, Basics of Fashion, Visual Merchandising etc.

Mihir Joshi

Mihir Joshi is a talented and innovative fashion designer and stylist with a B.Voc. in Fashion Designing. Currently, he works with prominent names such as Daniel Weber (Sunny Leone’s husband) and Tanushree Dutta, while also contributing to upcoming South Indian movie projects. Mihir has assisted with Kshipra Singh Jadon for London Fashion Week and assisted Abhi Singh at the Asia Designer Week Fashion Show. In addition to his hands-on experience in celebrity styling and high-profile fashion events, academic or teaching experience where he shares his expertise and passion for fashion with aspiring designers.
